District Education Initiatives
- Saturday January 17th, 2026 – District 5 Education Day 620 Morpeth Avenue Nanaimo Meeting starts at 10:00, lunch at noon and head home by 3:00PM. See poster for details (link in "Grand Master on the Island" above).
December (getting even closer to Christmas)!
- Monday December 8th Camosun Lodge No. 60 - 650 Fisgard Street – Festive snacks at 6:00PM, Lodge tyles at 7:00PM. Business of the evening will include proficiency in the MM degree, presentation of the MM certificate & apron and other business which may come before the Lodge.
- Monday December 8th – Henderson Lodge No. 84 - Westshore Masonic Centre 2832 Bryn Maur Rd., Langford, B.C. – The business of the evening will include; General Business, Receiving Petitions & Reports, to receive the reports [and ballot] on the Petitions for Affiliation, to deal with demit requests and brethren in arrears of dues for 2025, to Install the Historian for the ensuing year and the presentation of the Master Mason’s Certificate lecture. Lodge tyles at 7:30PM.
- Wednesday December 10th – Haida Lodge No. 166 – 650 Fisgard Street – Meet & Greet @ 6:00PM, Dinner at 6:30PM and Lodge tyles at 7:30PM. Official visit of our DDGM RWB Andrew Ross and a presentation by our DEO – WB Vance Smith.
- Thursday December 11th – Britannia Lodge No. 73 – 650 Fisgard Street Business of the evening will include the Britannia Annual Odel Fund Collection, Education by VWB Mark O’Donohue ‘AI and me” and further education to be announced. Fellowship will follow the Regular Communication. Lodge tyles at 7:30PM.

Wednesday December 17th – Vancouver & Quadra Lodge No. 2 – 650 Fisgard Street We will conduct general business, make presentations, and receive reports. We will confer the MM Degree and ballot on a petition for affiliation and receive contributions for the Worshipful Master’s charity, The Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Bro. J.W. will prepare a fine repast of BBQ ribs for Festive Board after the meeting. Lodge tyles at 7:30PM
